What are wood pellets actually?

Westerwälder wood pellets are pure as nature because they consist of 100 percent unseasoned wood. They are made from wood shavings and sawdust, and are a by-product of the wood-working industry--not one extra tree need to be cut down. As only local raw materials are used, the transport routes are very short. We avoid unnecessary CO₂ emissions.
